Welcome to Arcane Anthology, a tattoo studio & alternative shop in the heart of Frome’s only alternative shop, #badarcane.
Our shop features a wide array of products, from clothing, jewellery, artwork, games, lighting, candles & so much more. We created this exciting space out the front of our tattoo studio, as a safe space for those wanting to browse & enter a non-intimidating environment. Come grab a cuppa, check out the store and retro hang out space!
#badarcane isn’t just us, we joined forces with the amazing team at #badhair who specialise in alternative hair styles, colour mastery and working with extra needs youngsters. We are a team of life-long alternative people, living with neuro divergence.
We also have at back, the core of our business, a spacious 3 room tattoo studio, fully functional, licensed and inclusive. Sponsored by Underdog Tattoo Balm & Magnum Tattoo Supplies.

Arcanesturge
Sturge, our resident handpoke artist specialises in bold, illustrative dotwork style tattoos. Blending bold lines with dot shading, he is also very capable with traditional styles of colour and application.
Sturge is also a professional musician, organiser of ‘Frome Modified’ car club, and a life-long sci-fi fan! (as you’ll see from his collectible wall in the studio)
Sturge prides himself on making sure his clients feel comfortable, and is happy to receive any questions about his more traditional form of tattooing.
Jesskatattoo
Jess is our resident machine artist, and blends beautiful fine line styles with surrealism and illustration!
Specialising in all things cute, clown or floral, if you are in the market for a unique tattoo with super detail she is absolutely the artist for you.
Jess is a full time dog mum, love of The Simpsons and also paints in various mediums onto canvases and other materials.
